64th Birkenhead Sea Scouts

Scouting Uniform

Information about the different uniforms worn by the group

The Beaver and Cub Scouts Uniform

The Beaver Scout and Cub Scout uniforms worn by our Group are the same as those worn anywhere else. The only difference is that our members wear an RN Recognition badge on their jerseys.

The Beaver Scout jersey is turquoise in colour, whereas the Cub Scout jersey is green, and the badge locations for each are very similar. Jersey's should be worn along with the group neckerchief and navy blue or black trousers or shorts. There is no headdress to worry about.

The Sea Scout Uniform

The Sea Scout uniform consists of a woollen jersey which has the Sea Scout lettering sewn or embroidered onto the front. Badge locations are the same as they are for Scouts, except that again our members wear an RN Recognition badge.

The jersey is worn along with the group neckerchief and navy blue or black trousers. Headdress is a white round cap bearing the Sea Scouts cap tally. Our Scouts don't wear cap's for regular meetings, instead they are loaned out by the group for special occasions.
